Mike has worked in the health and wellness field for the past 20 years. Over this time, he has recognized the importance of developing a strong therapeutic alliance with his patients to enable them to achieve their best possible result. Mike uses an evidence-based approach to treatment that includes the use of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and education to assist patients with their goals.
Mike initially completed a Diploma in the Fitness & Lifestyle Management program at George Brown College in 1999. He followed this, completing his Bachelors of Science degree at Trent University in 2001. He spent 5 years working both as a trainer, as well as a rehab therapist for individuals with acquired brain injury. In 2006, Mike completed his Masters of Physical Therapy at D’Youville College, in Buffalo, NY. Mike has worked in Peterborough for the past 13 years in an orthopedic setting. In 2013, he completed his Advanced Diploma of Manual Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
Throughout his career, Mike has remained committed to continuing education.
